TOM WOODROFFE - EXPOSURE INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL

In the project Water Your Plants, Woodroffe implores a democratic approach to his practise using the camera to combine visceral with the gentile; often delving into the tender and quiet moments of everyday life.

People, objects and spaces are all combined, inviting the viewer to meditate on the absurd pleasures of life.

BIOGRAPHY

Tom Woodroffe (born 1996) is a British artist working from London.

In his practise Woodroffe observes and captures the everyday. He has honed a formal snapshot aesthetic, which moves between the diaristic and abstract.

These varied aesthetics and imagery work together to create something that feels as personal as a dairy, yet leave room for viewers to imprint their own nostalgia and experience into the work.
