InFocus Photography Exhibition and Awards is an annual show of the best contemporary imagery created by Canadian photographers. The mission of InFocus is to promote and exhibit innovative, thoughtful and provocative photography. InFocus is curated by award-winning professional photographer and arts advocate, Alexis Marie Chute.
The theme of InFocus 2018 is “Next Level.” Photographers present images across all photographic genres that speak to this theme. Their work takes photography to the next level through innovative techniques, aesthetics and concepts.
InFocus Photography Exhibition runs the month of February 2018 at The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel. The opening reception and curator talk, with live music, is Thursday, February 8 from 7–9pm. The InFocus People’s Choice Award and the PhotoED Emerging Photographer Award will be presented at the reception. Portfolio review day is Saturday, February 10. Photographers can register online.
