Testimonials by Photographers & Visual Artists
“The portfolio reviewing panel from Exposure covered an incredible range of skillsets, some of which are normally very hard to access. I was fortunate to receive feedback as a photographer and artist who wants to expose their work, and as someone who wants to create a tangible creative product, like a photobook. I'm delighted with these results.”
“I loved this event. The range, level of experience, and relevance of the reviewing panel were incredible, and I consider it one of the most important learning experiences I have had. The organization and execution were flawless, and the value was huge in relation to the cost of the event.”
“It was an amazing opportunity to get feedback from reviewers from other countries and photo communities.”

NOTES ON EXPOSURE’S ONLINE PORTFOLIO REVIEW
Saturday 11th February
Online via Zoom
9am - 2pm MT
Please read the following Exposure 2023 Online Portfolio Review notes, terms and conditions:
The Exposure 2023 Online Portfolio Review will be held on Zoom, using private breakout rooms to connect reviewer and photographer for their allotted time slots. This will be managed by Exposure. (2023 will be Exposure’s third Portfolio Review hosted online.)
The Exposure event moderators will place photographers into their review about a minute before the session’s start time and also send a warning near the end of the review. Once your time slot is up, the event moderator will exit you from your meeting to allow the next photographer to join.
Photographers should check their audio and video prior to the event date and have their digital portfolio ready to view prior to the event. Please ensure that you have access to a reliable internet connection, a system that can smoothly run a webcam, microphone and speaker to facilitate the reviews.
The event moderators will not be in any of the individual reviews unless asked to come in and help with any difficulties. If a photographer experiences any technical difficulties, they should send a message to the event moderator using Zoom’s chat feature or by emailing Exposure’s Coordinator.
Photographers will be asked to share their screens to show reviewers their portfolios. In the event registration confirmation email, photographers will be asked to upload their portfolio as a PDF file onto a Google drive. This will allow reviewers to access photographers’ portfolios in case photographers have problems with sharing their screens during the review.
Photographers will receive a Zoom weblink via email that will allow them to join the event. Photographers should not share this weblink with anyone.
If you experience any technical difficulties or if you miss your scheduled review time slot, Exposure will not refund your registration fee or reorganise your review for another time or date.
If a Reviewer that you are scheduled to see cannot attend the event for any circumstance, we will do our best to schedule a different Reviewer for you to meet on the event day. Please note that Exposure cannot refund event registration fees (or a percentage of the fee) if a Reviewer cannot attend the event.
If you have any questions, please email Exposure Coordinator, Beth Kane, beth@exposurephotofest.com
