Footsteps to Freedom showcases the work of Canmore-based, fine art photographer Kathleen Davies and her black and white and color photographs captured from mountain heights. The photographs speak to the incredible grandeur of the mountains, but each image also represents a journey of gratitude and the freedom to be fully mindful and present in the moment, while bearing witness to a panorama of peaks and unparalleled beauty above, beyond and below.
